The only way we'll get rid of mandatory retirement is if you take three minutes right now to send an e-mail message to your Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). Tell you MLA that mandatory retirement is a violation of basic human rights and is no longer justified in British Columbia. The more people who do this, the sooner older workers will regain the right to control their working lives. It will be the best three minutes you spent today.

If you need some ideas as to what to say in your e-mail message, check out the Mandatory Retirement Myths fact sheet or CUFA/BC's Submission to the Premier's Council on Aging and Seniors' Issues
